Dr. Ralph and Mary Cram Medical Center
The Albion Health Care Alliance owns and operates the Dr. Ralph and Mary Cram Medical Center. After the Albion Community Hospital closed in 2002, community members and Albion College representatives came together to develop a health care center. In 2003, the center was opened. In recognition of the family's health care for Albion, the center was re-named after long-time Albion physician Dr. Ralph Cram, and his wife Mary. He was known for delivering babies-more than 3,000, in fact! She was his first nurse. They were both very involved in community work. She passed away in 2012; he in 2022.
